please read :)

it has been a while, but i got the chance to blog today. yey.
(cheery disposition)
some realizations came to me while reading a book entitled "the dream giver" by bruce wilkinson
it talks about leaving your comfort zone and realizing your dream but then once you have realized your dream you have to give up to what is most important- the dream giver.

but before that i just need to share this:

a great message had touched me when I had the chance to go to CCF manila last sunday. and it states:

- Honor God, in your every response-
 be responsible with your response

we are proud people, we fight back when we think we are right. we easily get hurt when people criticize and judge us.
this sounds familiar because each and everyone of us has these feelings.
it really hit me, Jesus is just so timing with everything.
one night, I prayed so hard when I felt that I was not that person I think I was.
we do have our mistakes and one thing that I have learned- Honor God in your every response.

when you know you're wrong, accept it.
Jesus made people who will help you in life- people who are good and those who are bad.
this post I would really like to share because it made quite an impact.
it strengthens me, it gives me light to what's important-
it really does and I thank Jesus for that, hands up!
it was the first time I felt His comfort.
comfort of love and hope.
it just made me cry,
because I felt his love!

I just got so much to share, I may not be as well versed but deep inside my heart, I would like to share His love, Jesus' love to us.
how he does wonders! :)

He is not just there for us in times of our troubles, He is just there, waiting for us to call upon HIM. how amazing He is.
everyday, it seems that he makes me want to be like him more.
letting me realize my dream and for Him to be there, makes all the sense. its not about what I would achieve or please others, its how I will please the dream giver.

we are just a piece of the whole masterpiece.

DAY 29.

why the GAP?

It's the 29th day, why did'nt I write about the past days? well, I just like to be different and really concentrate on the days and not get giddy and update immediately ( if I do this, I will fail Him, because I would be concentrating too much on myself).

one friend said that he had difficulty with the challenge. he wanted to try as well. this is a daring step for him, for us, I would like to share to him that we are succeptible to anything and everything that goes around us, it is how we react to it which is important.
having people around you with the same goal would help you know and enjoy the world in Jesus' eyes.

imagine, at DAY1 I was already tempted. we know that it's the devils work but then----it still lies on our DECISION whether we accept the temptation that the devil offered to us.- it's not him, it's us.
my firends at work are people who I talk about when I have problems, but why didn't I talk to HIM first and seek his guidance during times when I am tempted?

LESSON: GO TO JESUS FIRST.
ON SIN: WE ARE TEMPTED BY THE DEVIL, BUT STILL WE DECIDE.
these are just simple learnings from my day to day life, random things that i would realize out of the blue or experiences that I am facing. as said earlier, I don't want to publish immediately. this is a slow process, your growing with the Lord :) if you have the chance you could keep a notebook so that you could write the days that happened to you and what/how it was special because you made your day with HIM.

just p.m me if you want to share too! it would be great! let's spread our experiences with the Lord.
to HIM be all the GLORY!

DAY 1

TEMPTATIONS.
I really thought that I would fail, and I almost did.
the devil is everywhere. he lures us and directs us to SIN. It lies upon us on how we respond to it and i have responded to it in so many different ways
Yesterday I did something I really regret. and that was walking out while me and my friend were in an argument/ talk, (im not sure if it was an argument but it felt like one).
he is the kind of person who would think of other people first, he is friendly and fun to be with but that faithful night, we had the argument. :(
" always guard your tongue" that's what I have learned. I really thought that trying to be Christ-like would be easy, but definitely it made me realize otherwise.
being a Christian entails a lot of responsibility. I felt so bad after what had happened and immediately asked for forgiveness, it doesn't matter who was right between the two of us, but being a Christian, I must have thought of what was the right thing to do if Jesus was in my shoes, and that was to pray and to ask guidance to our Lord, God.
I on the other hand didn't do that :(
we ahve fallen so many times, I have fallen so many times. and now i believe that the devil would work double time on me, He is not going to bring me down! he has but now he won't.
someone told me that the closer you get to Jesus, the more it will hit you, the temptations would come and you realize that you are human, and you will fall again. but this won't stop me, if I have fallen. Ill stand up, whatever it takes. FOR YOU LORD. FOR YOU!

a project not for self glorification but a day by day learning through the eyes of Jesus

this is a project. a project where i would try different things, new things, learning new things.- EVERYDAY.
this starts tomorrow OCTOBER 16, 2010 and ends at OCTOBER 16, 2011.
this would be a pledge. everyday.

there is no age limit when it comes to learning, that's what my mum would always say.
so here goes, i was inspired by a friend of mine deddy wong, he had his own version using the art of photography, for 40days he has taken pictures which reflect our Lord, Jesus.
he is an amazing guy and eventough he is busy, he has still time to do this, to share something to the world which glorifies Jesus.

this is just a simple project if one would see it, but for me..this is a project which i'll offer to Jesus. I believe this is a time for me to get to know him better and to do something which is for Him and not always for ME.

starting tomorrow. this is it.
the whole year with you Jesus!

time for yourself, time to relax and time to talk to HIM

sunshine on a cloudy day (photo above)
by aleyn comprendio (photo below)

" they confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me." psalm 18:18-19

"let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." hebrews 12:2

it has been days of recovery, and honestly bedrest is not for me.
i miss running, i miss jumping, i miss sitting down!, squatting,
my restless heart is trying to knock its way out of me.
i now know why He has made me experience this accident- to take it SLOWLY.

Lets take time for Him.
out of our busy lives.
lets appreciate the simple things that He made for us.
appreciate nature
appreciate people around us

even though i am restless in nature, i could say that the Lord has tamed me
and grateful that he did. it is difficult at times most especially with the demands of society, everything  seems to be a race, but when we PAUSE, try to breathe and talk to him..
the time you gave Him is even far more better than running around in circles in the race of life.
run with Him and i'm sure you'll know that you'll get there :)

"therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangled us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." hebrews 12:1
